Gary Zarra is a lifelong Greenwich, Connecticut native, builder, and developer whose work reflects craftsmanship, integrity, and a deep respect for the building process. As the founder of Zarra Development, he brings decades of hands-on experience building custom homes, renovations, and development projects throughout the community he has always called home.
Gary is known for being down to earth, easy to talk to, responsive, and fully present for his clients. He listens carefully, answers calls, and makes himself available, always putting his clients’ best interests first. He takes pride in guiding each project with steady attention, thoughtful problem-solving, and a focus on delivering homes that are both beautiful and highly functional.
A true Greenwich native, Gary takes great pride in contributing to the community he has always called home. He is widely respected for his ethical approach, reliability, and the lasting relationships he builds with his clients.
Outside of his work, Gary is a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a loyalty that reflects his appreciation for tradition, resilience, and excellence. He is also deeply engaged in his reef aquarium hobby, where he enjoys carefully selecting rare fish and corals and making his aquarium a living work of art. Creating and maintaining the reef is both relaxing and rewarding, combining patience, precision, and creativity. He has multiple pets, but his Vizsla, Ripley, is his constant companion and trusted sidekick.
Gary’s goal is simple: to build exceptional homes with lasting quality, thoughtful design, and timeless appeal—while always putting his clients first.
Nick Zarra
Project Management Associate
Nicholas Zarra is a construction and design professional based in Stamford, Connecticut. Raised in Greenwich, CT, Nicholas brings a strong local understanding of Connecticut construction, design standards, and craftsmanship.
He is a graduate of Quinnipiac University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic and Interactive Design, along with a minor in Psychology. His academic background combines visual communication, user-focused thinking, and attention to detail; skills that translate directly into construction-related roles requiring coordination, planning, and precision.
From a young age, Nicholas knew he wanted a career rooted in art, creativity, and building. He developed a passion for combining structure, imagery, and layout to create clear, impactful results. That creative foundation naturally aligns with construction, where form, function, and execution must work together seamlessly.
Growing up with a father who worked as a contractor, Nicholas gained early, hands-on exposure to the construction industry. This experience shaped his practical mindset and appreciation for quality workmanship, problem-solving, and detail-oriented execution. He understands how design concepts translate into real-world construction environments.
Nicholas is known for his strong attention to detail, ability to work with his hands, and commitment to pushing beyond limitations to deliver high-quality work. His goal is to bridge design and construction, applying creative thinking and disciplined execution to projects that demand both visual clarity and structural integrity.
